Hi, I'm Adri.

I've worn many hats in my professional life: salesperson, promoter, assistant, manager, production leader, marketer, operations manager. I've dreamt of f becoming a ballerina, a firefighter, an actress, a cashier, a hippie, even a world traveler. I spent close to a decade in the theater industry, and perhaps never would have quit until my experience with complete burnout and feeling miserable. It took me a while to stop lying to myself. I even needed an illness to shake me up too. But look how remarkable the body truly is! How much it helps us to finally understand that we are heading in the wrong direction!? Endometriosis taught me a lot, for example, realizing that my body isn't my enemy.

Change is inevitable, yet I spent a long time trying to avoid it because it's incredibly uncomfortable. However, over the past five years, almost everything has changed within and around me. Today I know there's no greater feeling than embracing change. I want to help you experience inevitable change as an opportunity  too, with tools that have helped me push through difficult moments and periods.

When I left everything behind, I headed to the Azores for a volunteer job, aiming to discover what kind of life I genuinely desire. That's how I started teaching yoga.

People have always intrigued me—their feelings, desires, motivations. I'm fascinated by the diversity of people, the cultural differences, the ever-changing nature of life, and the endless possibilities it offers.

I want to live in a more accepting world, nestled within communities that lift  each other up. Filled with confident, kind-hearted individuals, who support one another. My goal for the next decade is to cultivate such a community.

It all begins with me and you today. I want to assist you to learn how to collaborate with your body, to have the courage to be honest with yourself, to boldly connect with others—because there's immense joy and strength in collaboration. I want you to know that today, you can take steps forward to feel better. While change is inevitable, remember, you always have a choice. It's okay if you're unsure what to do or if today, you'd rather not shake the world from its four corners. Come as you are.

Every yoga session is a fresh opportunity. Every camp, retreat, or training offers a chance to explore new perspectives, to see ourselves through different lenses. And to give back to others as well.

I believe the world is an incredible place; we simply need to relearn how to trust ourselves and each other. Yoga helps me on this journey. I hope it will do the same for you.
